The President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki on Wednesday cautioned Nigerian politicians against do-or-die politics ahead of the forthcoming general elections. He made the call while welcoming his colleagues from the Christmas and  New Year break, A statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sanni Onogu, in Abuja, said the Senate President appealed that all efforts should be made to ensure that the forthcoming elections are free, fair and credible.

A faction of Imo state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, led by Daniel Nwafor, says it has commenced contempt proceedings against the National Chairman of APC, Adams Oshiomhole.
