Fidelity Bank Plc has on Sunday announced the appointment of Mr. Mustafa Chike-Obi, the Executive Vice Chairman of Alpha African Advisory as its new Chairman.
In a statement, the bank said the outgoing chairman, Mr. Ernest Ebi, and Mr. Seni Adetu, an independent non-executive director will be retiring from the bank's board after their tenures.
While serving as Chairman, the bank under Ebi recorded significant growth, the bank's market share has been strengthened. Also, Adetu played a significant role in complementing management effort in upgrading the bank, enhancing service delivery in accordance with the vision of the bank.

The federal government has announced a new price band of 140.80 to N143.80 per litre for Petroleum Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol. The Petroleum Products Pricing and Regulatory Agency (PPRA), in a circular to marketers dated July 1, 2020, and signed by its Executive Secretary, Abdulkadir Saidu informed that “After a review of the prevailing market fundamentals in the month of June and considering marketers’ realistic operating costs, as much as practicable, we wish to advise a new PMS pump price band of N140.80 – N143.80 per litre for the month of July 2020.All markets are advised to operate within the indicative prices advised by the PPRA.”

In a statement, EPA said it has approved the use of two products Lysol Disinfectant Spray and Lysol Disinfectant Max Cover Mist, for use against COVID-19 after laboratory testing proved the products were effective against the deadly virus.
