Dana Air Signs Agreement With Asky
Nigerian domestic carrier, Dana Air, and the Lome-based African airline, Asky, have signed an interline agreement to deepen their presence in the regional air travel market. Dana said part of the agreement includes aircraft partnership deal with Asky to add some new generation aircraft to its fleet.

The Federal Government has said Ministries, Department and Agencies have been directed to generate N886 billion as Independent Revenue per annum in 2018. The National Economic Council (NEC) on Thursday mandated its committee to interface with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation with a view to determining the correct price of fuel. Fuel Scarcity: DPR Seals 6 Fuel Stations In Cross River
As part of efforts toward ending the persistent fuel scarcity in some parts of the country, the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) has sealed six fuel stations in Cross River state over alleged diversion of petroleum product and hike in price. The Operations Controller in the state, Bassey Nkanga while speaking with Vanguard said the stations were all sealed within the last one week.

FG Orders NNPC To End Fuel Scarcity
The Federal Government on Thursday ordered the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to end fuel scarcity in the country before the end of this weekend. The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu stated this while addressing newsmen on the Nigerian International Petroleum Summit, NIPS, scheduled to hold between February 18 and 22, 2018. He said the government was concerned about the prevailing situation in the sector and was working towards addressing same.

RwandAir Set To Start Flights To Direct Flights To Abuja
RwandAir, the national carrier of Rwanda, is set to expand its wings to Abuja in Nigeria and Cape Town in South Africa. According to airline officials, RwandAir will operate four weekly flights from Kigali to Cape Town with a stopover in Harare, Zimbabwe. However, the officials did not give timeframe during which they intend to start flying to the new destinations, but hastened to add that this will not take long.
Customs Officer In Critical Condition After Being Macheted By Smugglers
An operative of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Ogun State Area Command, Muhammed Maigari, was over the weekend brutally macheted by some armed smugglers at Ibeji River, around Idogo-Ifoyintedo axis in Ipokia Local Government Area of the state. The command public relations officer, Abdullahi Maiwada, who confirmed the incident to newsmen in the state, said the victim was on patrol with his colleagues when the incident took place.
