Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor YemiOsinbajo, says Nigeria has witnessed increased investor interest from 66.4 billion dollars in 2017 to 90.9 billion dollars in 2018.

This was disclosed at the first Nigeria and the United Kingdom Economic Development Forum (EDF), hosted by the Federal Government at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

According to AIT, President MuhammaduBuhari and Prime Minister Theresa May signed the Economic Development Forum in August 2018 in London as a platform to foster economic and development ties between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

The Economic Development Forum gives a platform for the UK and Nigeria to work together for a two-way investment and trade, thereby driving growth and creating jobs in both countries.

Also in attendance were Catriona Laing, British High Commissioner to Nigeria, UK’s Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt and Okechukwu Enelamah, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment.
