The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) has consolidated its collaboration with the Australian government on mining and agriculture in other to boost the nation's dwindling mining sector and boost food security.
The national President of NACCIMA, Hajiya Saratu Iya-Aliyu made the disclosure over the weekend during a courtesy visit to the Australian High Commission office in the Federal Capital Territory.
Iya-Aliyu noted that the increasing collaboration between the Australian private sector and the Nigerian private sector, as well as the Chambers, are important areas of her administration's agenda.
The NACCIMA National President commended the contributions of the Australian High Commission towards the success of the Association's mining Road Show in August 2018. She added that the Road Show showcased potentials of Nigeria's mining sector and also exposed Nigerian miners to Australian investors.
She assured the High Commission of NACCIMA's commitment for deeper engagement with the Australian private sector in the area of mining and Agriculture.
