Abuja-Kaduna Train Services: NRC Adjusts Departure Times

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has announced the adjustment of the departure times for the last 2 trains of the Abuja-Kaduna Train Services (AKTS) to ensure that passengers arrive at their destinations early. This was disclosed on Friday by the Manager, Abuja-Kaduna Train Service, Mr. Pascal Nnorli in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), adding that the trains are now scheduled to depart 30 minutes earlier than their previous departure times.


He said, “The AK3 from Idu (Abuja) which takes off at 3:30 pm to arrive Rigasa (Kaduna) at 5:38 pm will now leave at 3:00 pm, to arrive at 5:08 pm. Also, KA4 train of 2:00 pm from Rigasa (Kaduna) will now depart from Rigasa at 1:30 pm and arrive at Idu (Abuja) at 3:37 pm instead of 4:07 pm”.

The Manager also said the adjustments to the departure times will take effect from Monday, December 12, 2022.

He further stated that the Corporation was committed to ensuring the safety of passengers and properties in its operations.
