The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has disclosed that a total of 34 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive in Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos from July 20 to Aug. 28.
This was contained in its publication, `Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Lagos.
In the report, the NPA said the ships would carry buck wheat, bulk fertiliser, general cargo, bulk corn, bulk sulphur, bulk sugar, butane gas, lubrication oil, petrol and containers laden with other goods.
So far, 12 ships have arrived in the ports waiting to berth, while 22 other are also at the ports discharging their cargoes.
