Air Peace has announced its plans to suspend flight operations to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to the non-issuance of visas to Nigerians by Emirati authorities. This was made known in a statement by Air Peace which reads as follows: “We hereby inform the public, especially our Dubai passengers that effective from Tuesday, November 22, 2022, we shall be suspending our Dubai operations till further notice.

“This is consequent upon the persisting non-issuance of visas to Nigerian travelers by the government of the United Arab Emirates and the accompanying inconveniences.

“Air Peace has been operating into the UAE even with the country’s recent travel restrictions, but given the heightening hurdles Nigerian travelers are facing in accessing the country, it has become imperative that we halt our operations to that destination”.

According to the statement, the airline stated it would provide updates as the situation progresses but advised affected passengers to send a mail to their call center team- This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for further enquiries.

Dubai authorities recently placed a visa ban and placed all visa applications from Nigeria on hold until the issues between both countries were resolved.
