The Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) has announced that it has prohibited six online trading platforms from continuing activities. This was contained in a circular issued on Monday by the Commission which stated that the affected platforms were not registered by the SEC, therefore the financial services offered by them were unauthorized.

The listed companies include Prime Invest and Primeinv.co; FXBoxed; New Finance LLC and New Fx Limited; Axi24; Evolve Consulting LLC and Trust Fund-Mining Global Pty Limited.

The Commission advised members of the public to adopt the highest form of diligence when making investment choices, adding that any individual dealing with the listed prohibited e-commerce websites is doing so at their own risk.
