Popular A-list Nigerian reggae artiste Ukeleke Onwubuya, better known by his stage name Ras Kimono is dead. He passed on Sunday 10th June 2018, at age 60.
According to reports the music legend was rushed to a hospital in Ikeja, Lagos, where he was later referred to Lagoon Hospital on the Island, where he was pronounced dead.
He had earlier concluded plans to travel to the United States Saturday night, when he started complaining of not feeling well.
The news of his demise was announced by the commissioner for tourism, arts and culture in Lagos state, Steve Ayorinde on social media.
Ras Kimono who was known for hit songs ‘We no want’ and ‘“Rum-Bar Stylée”.
