Davido’s hit single “Fall” is currently the most watched Nigerian music video on youtube, with nearly 100 million views.
On June 27th, 2018, popular Nigerian hip-hop artist Omo Baba Olowo (OBO) released a hit single "Fall", this single went ahead to become one of the must-watch youtube video by a nigerian artist, edging out Yemi Alade’s 2014 “Johnny” video which is at 97.8 million views, while fall is closing in on 100 million views.
The simplicity of the video puts it in a position to become the first Nigerian music video to amass 100 million views on youtube.
The DMW boss in 2017, said he was going back to basics with his music, meaning he would make music to appeal to the local African audience.
However, his influence on afrobeat got him alot of International recognition this year.
