Nigerian Artists Davido, and Burna Boy among other African musicians have been nominated for the 7th edition of the Annual African Muzik Magazine Awards and Music Festival (AFRIMMA) which will be a virtual ceremony due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. AFRIMMA music award ceremony celebrates African artists and talents across the world, promoting African culture. This year's ceremony themed "Destination Africa" has deserving nominees which include Diamond Platnumz, Aya Nakamura, Soraia Ramos, Master KG, Oxlade, J Derobie, and Zeynab among others.
Organizers of the event in a statement said this year's event will explore various parts of Africa, adding that "We are taking you on a music journey into the sounds of Africa, the beauty of African music lies in the diversity and the AFRIMMA virtual awards would be a showcase event".
Meanwhile, the event will be available for live streaming on African Muzik Magazine YouTube channel 15, November by 1 pm CST.
