Nigerian American actor Olurotimi Akinosho professionally known as Rotimi has proposed to his Tanzanian girlfriend and singer Vanessa Mdee after taking their relationship public back in 2019. The proposal news of the duo was shared in a video shared on Instagram by the handle @Paislib. in the video, Rotimi went down on his knees as he asked Vanessa to marry him.
The happy couple also went on to share the news on Instagram in separate posts. “She said YES!” he captioned a post showing of her huge diamond rock. “You are my everything. My angel. In 2015, I prayed that whoever my wife was going to be and wherever she was at the moment, I hoped she was happy, having a good day and receiving GOD’S abundance.”

After the news of their relationship went viral in 2019, Mdee confirmed their relationship during an interview. "It took me just two days for me to know that he was my husband," she said. "You know when you are in love with somebody. Yes, I'm in love with him," she added.
