Grammy Award-winning superstar, Burna Boy has won the Best International Act at the 2021 BET Awards at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, making it his third consecutive win in the same category. The “Bank On It” singer beat fellow Nigerian singer, Wizkid and Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz. Other nominees in the category include Aya Nakamura (France), Emicida (Brazil), Headie One (United Kingdom), Young T & Bugsey (United Kingdom), and Youssopha (France).
The Awards was celebrated by artists and entertainers with a remarkable pregnancy announcement by rapper Cardi B during her performance with The Migos rap group.
Also, rappers like Busta Rhymes paid tribute to late rapper DMX and Queen Latifa received The Lifetime Achievement Award for her impact in the entertainment industry.
