Following the twist of Big Brother, over the first immediate eviction process after the head of house (HoH) game, Amaka has been evicted from the live show, after both the latter and Doyin topped the nomination process with six votes each. The tie was broken by Big Brother after nullifying a vote from Doyin cumulative votes made by a fake house, giving Doyin an edge over Amaka.
Big Brother announced Amaka's eviction to the housemate at the lounge, following the housemate's nomination. Although, fans of the show have perceived the Monday night eviction as a fake one, owing to some points listed as why they felt it was not real. Firstly, she was not called to the stage for the final talk with the host of the show, Ebuka Obi Uchendu, Mores, Big Brother does not announce evictions, as that was the duty of Ebuka, hence the speculation and uncertainty surrounding Amaka's eviction.
Consequently, if the eviction ends up being real, then it will be recorded that Amaka will be the eighth person to leave the show, after Pharmsavi, Kess, Ilebaye, Khalid, Cyph, and Christy O.
