Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been involved in a messy court case following their divorce of the duo in September 2016. Davido Fined For Overstaying 02 Arena During Concert

Nigeria Afrobeat singer David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has been reportedly fined the sum of one hundred and ninety million Naira a few hours after his few hours concert on 5th March 2022 at the 02 Arena in London. A Twitter user Marvin Abbey, has shared in a microblogging platform, stating that the singer was supposed to round up his concert at the 02 Arena by 11 pm based on the rules guiding the arena, noting that for any additional minute spend after 11 pm a fine of 10,000 pounds would be paid.

Davido Cries Out As Show Promoters Abandoned Him In Italy

Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has lamented after, Havoc Entertainment, a show promoter allegedly dumped him in a hotel room in Italy after enjoying his show. The celebrity disclosed on his Instagram page that he had a deal with a show promoter who made him travel to Italy, however, upon arrival, the promoter refused to keep to his part of the bargain by refusing to pay Davido his money after selling thousands of tickets.

2022 AMVCA: 'Amina', 'Omo Ghetto' Top Nominations List

The Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) has announced the nominations for the 8th edition of the awards ceremony scheduled for May 14, in Lagos. Historic drama 'Amina' topped the nomination list with 12 nominations followed by Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele who bagged nine nominations for her movie 'Omo Ghetto', while Ramsey Nouah's movie 'Rattlesnake: The Ahanna Story' had 10 nominations.
Organizers of the AMVCA introduced a new category 'Best Social media content creator' with nominees like Taooma, Sabinus, Mr Macaroni, among others.

NBC Grants NYSC Broadcasting Licence

The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has granted an operational licence to the National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC) to commence its Direct Satellite Broadcasting (BSB) and Internet Protocol Television (IPTV). The NYSC Director-General Major General Shuaibu Ibrahim on 9th February 2022 received the broadcast licence from his NBC counterpart, Mallam Balarabe Ilela in the nation's capital. More so, Ilela stated that more support will be accorded the scheme by the Federal Government" "to tell the NYSC story; especially its tremendous achievements to the world".
