Beyonce has dominated the nomination list for the 2021 Grammy Awards, making her the second most nominated Grammy artist in history with a total of 79. Also, Nigeria's Burna Boy bagged his second Grammy nomination in a row with his "Twice As Tall" album for the 'Besta Global Music Album' category.

Burna Boy's "Twice As Tall" album will be competing against Antibalas's "FU Chronicles", Bebel Gilberto's "Agora", Tinariwen's "Amadjar", and Anoushka Shankar's "Love Letters" in the Best Global Album category.

The 29-year-old musician was nominated in 2019 for his "African Giant" album but lost to Angelique Kidjo at the 62nd awards ceremony.

Also, Canadian Artiste, The Weekend has accused the Grammy of "corrupt" processes after he was snubbed of nominations despite his "After Hours" album was No.1 on the Billboard 200 charts for four weeks.

"The Grammys remain corrupt. You owe me, my fans, and the industry transparency," the singer said.

Responding to The Weekend's claims, Harvey Mason, the Recording Academy's chair and interim CEO said "We were thrilled when we found out he would be performing at the upcoming Super Bowl and we would have loved to have him also perform on the GRAMMY stage the weekend before. Unfortunately, every year, there are fewer nominations than the number of deserving artists."

Meanwhile, the 63rd annual awards will take place on January 31, 2021, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
