Veteran Nollywood actor, Victor Olaotan popularly known for his role on the hit show Tinsel has died at 69 years after a prolonged illness, his wife, Julia announced. The ailing actor’s death follows a ghastly car accident in 2016 around Apple junction in Festac, Lagos which left him bedridden.
His widow expressed gratitude, saying “He has tried. It is not easy to be trapped in your own body for five years. He can finally rest now.”
The actor had been battling for his life in a Turkish hospital for almost three years but was recently flown back to Nigeria where his condition deteriorated after his family could no longer foot the medical expenses abroad.
