President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Mr. Salihu Dembos as the Director General (DG)/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) for a tenure of 3 years. Dembos appointment was announced in a statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed.
Prior to his appointment, Dembos was NTA’s Executive Director, Marketing, and served as General Manager of 2 NTA stations, in Lokoja and Kano, amongst other appointments.
His career as a media professional spans over a 20-year period.
