UCL: Burna Boy Billed For Istanbul Final

Nigerian singer Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu (Burna Boy) has been billed to perform at the 2023 UEFA Champions League (UCL) final in Istanbul, on Saturday, June 10.

Tournament organizers, Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) alongside top sponsor Pepsi MAX have announced that Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum-selling singer, songwriter and producer, Burna Boy, will co-headline the UCL Final Kick-Off Show.

It can be recalled that early in the year, the co-headliner performed at the 2023 NBA All-Star halftime show alongside fellow Nigerian singers Tems and Rema.

According to UEFA official website, “GRAMMY Award-winning and multi-platinum selling singer, songwriter, and producer Burna Boy will co-headline the 2023 UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show by Pepsi®, at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul on Saturday 10 June.”

In response to this feat, Burna Boy in ecstasy commented: “As a huge football fan myself, I know it doesn’t get any bigger than the UEFA Champions League! That’s why I’m so excited to be performing on the Pepsi MAX stage at this year’s final. Music and football are the ultimate combinations, so you already know I’ll be bringing the vibes and making magic in Istanbul. The world ain’t ready for what we have in store!”
