Lagos State House of Assembly member, Desmond Elliot on Tuesday donated two 500kv transformers to fire services and Barack Police Station in Lagos. The Nollywood actor turned politician who shared the pictures of the transformer on his Instagram page said the gesture was part of efforts to celebrate the Christmas with people in his constituents. Speaking at the presentation of the transformers, Hon. Desmond Elliot charged the management to ensure that they are put to good use for the benefit of residents in the area.
In September, the Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode donated 120 new 5kva generators to the Lagos state Command to help lighten up various police formations in the state.
