While many Nigerians are congratulating popular Blogger, Linda Ikeji on her engagement to ex-boyfriend, media personality and daughter of the former Governor of Oyo state, Kemi Olunloyo has warned that engagement may not necessarily translate to marriage and stressed that she does not see her getting married anytime soon.
Kemi who took to her Twitter handle to pass her verdict narrated how American businesswoman Oprah Winfrey got engaged when she was 21 years old and remained so, now that she is already 51.
Her tweet read;
“#Nigerians as always SMART but NOT intelligent. The fact that u are engaged does Not Mean You are marrying SOON! @Oprah has been engaged since I was 21 yo. Im 53 now. I worked as her 19yo intern at @wjz in 1983 on a talkshow b4 she left for #Chitown. Linda Ikeji take UR TIME.”
