Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has restated his administration's plan to revitalise tourism sector in the state and also attract both local and foreign investors.

Ondo State which was carved out of the old Western State on Feb 3, 1976 celebrated her 44th year yesterday. While in the mood of celebration, the governor, Rotimi Akeredolu via series of tweets stated the achievement the state had attained is the last couple of months such as the construction of chocolate factory in Idanre which awaits a credible investor to manage, construction of the Ore Flyover Bridge, first of its kind in the state which is set to be commissioned by President Buhari and so many other mammoth projects.

The Governor is however on course to construct a cable car at Idanre Hills. He ststed this while responding to a twitter user who asked the Governor to build a cable car in Akure, the state capital.

"Idanre first. The views of Idanre Hills from a cable car would be quite spectacular. It is a key piece of our tourism revitalization plans. #DevelopOndo". - Gov. Akeredolu
