Following the death of Ghanaian singer, Ebony Reigns in a vehicular accident, many celebrities in the entertainment industry within and outside Ghana have taken to the social media to condole with family and friends of the singer. Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo who reacted to her death on Sunday described some of the celebrities as hypocrites for writing beautiful lines about the singer on the social media after her death.

He explained that if the singer had requested them to promote her song while alive, most of them would have refused. He noted that everyone was acting as if they care now that she is dead. He called on them to change and assist others the best way they can.

The actor who took to his Twitter handle to share his thoughts also cautioned some 'men of God' who spew fake prophecies to deceive people. John was reacting to a prophecy by one Cosmos Walker Affran that Shatta Wale, another Ghanaian singer was very close to death.

The Prophet who made this known on his Facebook page wrote “Ghana should pray, I see a national mourning again the whole nation was in tears and this time is Ghanaian singer “Shatta wale”, and it is very close “death” . "Thou saith the Lord"

Reacting, John Dumelo tweeted;

“Some use “touch not my anointed” as a cover up to say fake things. Sorry, who anointed you? It’s sad People fear men of God than God Himself. When you read your Bible you will get all your answers there. Your answer doesn’t lie with “Man of God”. It lies with your faith and God!”
