First Class Emir, Emir of Rano, Tafida Abubakar Ila Auta Bawo has died at age 74, after he was hospitalised, at the Nassarawa Specialist Hospital on Friday. House of Representatives Member, representing Rano, Kibiya and Bunkure federal constituency, Alhaji Kabir Alhassan Rururm who also serves as Turakin Rano confirmed that the Emir passed away on Saturday.
Though the cause of Auta Bawo's death is unknown, residents expressed concern following the recent mysterious deaths in the State.
He was among the recently appointed First Class Emirs in Kano State.
He is survived by 2 wives and 17 children.
