Anti Apartheid Hero, Desmond Tutu Of South Africa Is Dead

Archbishop Desmond Tutu, one of the heroes who put their life online during the apartheid in South Africa has passed on to join the ancestors. The South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa described the loss as “another chapter of bereavement in our nation’s farewell to a generation of outstanding South Africans”. The president applauded the nonagenarian cleric for lending his voice for the liberation of his countrymen. 



Tutu, a Nelson Mandela ally who stood side by side with the world celebrated hero to squash racial segregation in their fatherland. 

The duo kicked against the racial discrimination by the white minority government against the black majority in South Africa. 

In 1984, the cleric received a Nobel Prize for the role he played in the struggle.
