The British government has revealed rigid new immigration rules on how to cut down the number of immigrants relocating to the United Kingdom for residency and work. The Home Secretary James Cleverly stated that actions are already in place to reduce authorized immigration and curb abuse of the immigration system, delivering the biggest-ever reduction in net migration. Together, this package will mean around 300,000 people who came to the UK last year would now not be able to come., Following the new rule, The UK government will tighten the Health and Care visa, which has seen a significant number of visas granted to care workers and their dependents, by preventing overseas care workers from bringing their dependents to the UK. In addition, care providers in England will now only be able to sponsor migrant workers if they are undertaking activities regulated by the Care Quality Commission.

Portuguese Prime Minister Steps Down Amid Corruption Probe

Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa resigned shortly after prosecutors issued arrest warrants and raided government buildings due to a corruption investigation. Brussels Police Kill Suspect Accused Of Shooting Two Swedish Football Fans 

A gunman who shot and killed two Swedish nationals in Brussels has died after being shot by police, thereby ending an overnight manhunt.
