The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have announced the birth of their first born child, in the early hours of today. Their baby boy weighs 7lb.3oz (3.260 kg), and both mother and baby are doing well.
The announcement was made on Social media via the Royal Highnesses official Instagram account. It read “The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thanked members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives.”
Since the announcement, family, friends and fans have taken to social media to celebrate with the new mom and dad.
