Megxit: Queen Elizabeth Forbids Harry And Meghan From Using Their ‘Sussex Royal’ Brand

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will formally step down as senior royals from 31 March, and the Queen of England has enjoined Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to refrain from using their already-trademarked “Sussex Royal” brand.

The couple has reportedly been trying to lock down the international rights for the brand after royal exit, but Queen Elizabeth reportedly finds it inappropriate for the couple based on their decision. Although the use of the word "Royal" by Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, for their new venture is being reviewed, according to a source.

The Duke and Duchess who from 1 April will no longer be regarded as royals intend to split their time between the UK and North America. They will attend six events in the UK in February and March including the Commonwealth Day Service on 9 March.
