European Union and Britain will kick off new talks on Monday to negotiate and reach a deal that will enable their relationship after the Brexit transition period of the end of the year.

Britain and the EU have ties ranging from security and trade, aviation among others.

The talk is expected to create new collaborations and relationship with the two since the Brexit of January 31, 2020.

The first phase of the talks will hold in the EU hub in Brussels, Belgium between Monday and Thursday, while the second phase will hold in London later in March, after which more talks will hold every two to three weeks.

According to Reuters, about 100 UK officials have already arrived at Brussels for the talks.

Though the EU is willing t grant Britain access to its single market of 450 million people, however, the UK's Boris Johnson wants out and refuses to accept EU's rules and jurisdictions.

On the eve of the talks, Senior British Minister, Michael Gove set an uncomfortable tone, saying, "We want the best possible trading relationship with the EU.

But we will not trade away our newly recovered sovereignty."

Currently, EU and Britain are on rocky terms as trust between the two are lost, this may affect the efficiency of the system as the EU has a rigid approach as to Johnson's liberal style of approach.
