Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday he had new “proof” of a secret Iranian nuclear weapons programme, as the US considers whether to quit a landmark atomic deal which Israel opposes. The Israeli premier, who has repeatedly called for the accord between world powers and his country’s main enemy Iran to either be altered or scrapped, gave a presentation live on television including videos and slides allegedly exposing Iran’s nuclear dossier.

The leaders of North and South Korea have agreed to work to rid the peninsula of nuclear weapons, after holding a historic summit. According to CNN.

The announcement was made by the North's Kim Jong-un and Moon Jae-in of South Korea after talks at the border.

The two also agreed to push towards turning the armistice that ended the Korean War in 1953 into a peace treaty this year.

The plan to forcibly deport thousands of illegal African migrants has been shelved by Israel, but is encouraging voluntary deportation. In a written response to the country’s Supreme Court, the government said forced removal of the migrants “is no longer on the agenda”. However, Israel’s immigration authorities are still seeking ways to deport migrants voluntarily, it said.
