Iran has on Monday issued a warrant of Arrest on the United States President, Donald Trump over the killing of Iranian Top General, Qasem Soleimani who led the Quds Force of Iran's Revolutionary Guards in January by an American drone strike.
According to Iran State News Agency, IRNA, Tehran prosecutor, Ali Qasi Mehr said the arrest warrant was also issued for 36 other US political and military officials involved, adding those involved in the death of the General "have been investigated and were ordered to be arrested through Interpol".

"These people have been charged with murder and terrorist acts," Qasi Mehr said.

"At the top of the list is US President Donald Trump, and his prosecution will continue even after the end of his term," the prosecutor said.

Qasem Soleimani was killed in an airstrike outside Baghdad International Airport in Iraq. Protest and missile attacks at US troops and US Government sparked after his death with threats of reprisal attacks against Israel and other US allies.

However, Trump warned that if any American is attacked, the US will target 52 Iranian sites.

"Let this serve as a warning that if Iran strikes any American or American assets, we have targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago)," Trump said.
