Nancy Pelosi, the first female speaker of the House of Representatives in the United States of America (USA) has said that she would step down as the Democrats Party’s leader in Congress. She also said she would remain in Congress but will not re-run for the position of Speaker of the House after several American news outlets forecasted that Republicans won the majority in last week’s midterm election, therefore, now making Democrats the minority in Congress.

FTX Investigates ‘Unauthorized Transactions’

The crypto exchange company, FTX announced it was investigating and moving funds into offline storage after a series of “unauthorized transactions”. According to reports, more than $700 million in cryptocurrency vanished from the wallet of the defunct cryptocurrency firm. Soon after, the company via its official Telegram channel announced it was hacked and also advised users not to install any updates and delete all FTX apps.

Argentina’s Vice President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner has survived an assassination attempt outside her home after an assailant pointed a handgun that jammed, the country's president said. According to, President Alberto Fernández, the pistol did not discharge when the man tried to fire it. "A man pointed a firearm at her head and pulled the trigger," the president said in a national broadcast following the incident. Gunmen Shoot Nine People Outside Bar In Philadelphia

Nine people were shot outside of a bar in Philadelphia Saturday night, according to police. The Police revealed that the gunmen exited a black-colored vehicle that was parked in the middle of the block and fired about 40 shots. Nine of the people were rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.

Police Arrest Suspect Who Killed Four In Memphis Shooting Spree

The suspect responsible for causing terror and widespread apprehension across Memphis on Wednesday has been arrested by Police. Ezekiel Kelly, 19, is in custody after Memphis police issued an alert Wednesday evening to be on the lookout for an armed and dangerous man who police said was on a shooting rampage across the city. He drove around the city shooting at people during an hours-long rampage that forced frightened people to shelter in different places. The rampage began at 12:56 a.m. Wednesday and continued to about 8:30 p.m. There were at least eight crime scenes: the seven shootings and the carjacking of a Dodge Challenger in Southaven, Mississippi, Davis said. Four people have been killed during the senseless shooting while three others were injured. As the shooter terrorized Memphis, public bus service was suspended and a downtown stadium where a minor-league baseball game was underway was placed on lockdown.
