As NYSC Orientation Camp Resume, Two Corp Members Test Positive For COVID-19

The NYSC State Coordinator of Kano, Aisha Tata, has disclosed that two of her new corps members who just arrive at the NYSC Orientation camp have tested positive for coronavirus infection. The Coordinator made this known while speaking with journalists shortly after the swearing-in ceremony of the 2020 Batch ‘B’ stream ‘A’ corps members today.

Tata said, 826 corps members were deployed to Kano state for the orientation exercise and were all tested for the coronavirus infection.

Sadly, she said, two of them were tested positive for COVID-19 despite all the protocols expected of the NYSC management was put in place; however, they have since been dispatched to an Isolation center.

In her statement, “As you have seen we have provided all the necessary prevention facilities and ensured that all the corps members use them.

She added, “We have also ensured comprehensive fumigation to ensure that the camp remains a clean environment for the corps members,”.
