A statement by the Adamawa State Ministry of Health on Monday, has confirmed 19 new cases of cholera in Mubi North and Mubi South Local Government Areas (LGAs) respectively.

The Information Officer of the ministry, Mohammed Abubakar, said that 16 of the new cases were recorded in Mubi South LGA, while the other three happened in Mubi North.

A pregnant woman's risk of delivering early can depend on factors such as a previous preterm birth, certain pregnancy or medical complications, preeclampsia, stress or diabetes. A woman can also have a premature birth even if she has no known risk factors.

U.S Foundation To Setup Dialysis Centres In Nigeria

A U.S based Nigerian foundation, Handover Heals Foundation, said it planned to setup state-of-the-art dialysis centres in Anambra and other states in Nigeria.

Ebola Epidemic In DR Congo Stabilizing - Who

The World health Organisation (WHO) have hinted that the current outbreak of Ebola virus disease ravaging Democratic Republic of Congo, seems to be stabilizing, though the disease still has an element of springing surprise.

According to Reuters, WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said "It's stabilizing. We're optimistic, cautiously optimistic."
