The New COVID-19 cases in Nigeria have increased with 350 new recorded cases, totaling the country's infection to 11,516, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the cases. The new infections were recorded in 19 states including Lagos with 102, Ogun with 34, FCT with 29, Borno with 26, and Kaduna with 23.

Other states are Rivers with 21, Ebonyi with 17, Kwara with 16, Katsina with 14, Edo, Delta, Kano, and Bauchi with 10 cases each. Also, Bayelsa had 9 new cases, Imo recorded 8, Plateau had 4, Ondo recorded 3, and Nasarawa has 2 cases, while Gombe and Oyo had 1 case each.


According to NCDC, with the total COVID-19 infections at 11,516, 3,535 people have been treated and discharged, while 323 have lost their lives.
