Gunmen on Wednesday night attempted a jailbreak by attacking the Afokang Correctional facility in Calabar, Cross River State, killing a Correctional Service officer.

The Nigeria Police Command, Federal Capital Territory, FCT, has disagreed with the alarm raised by 14 residents of the FCT claiming their sexual organs are missing. The FCT Police Commissioner, Haruna Garba stated that the missing organ claims was false after medical examination was conducted on each of the acclaimed victims.
