President Buhari Appoints Rectors, Others For Federal Polytechnics

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointments of Rectors and Registrars for 3 federal polytechnics in the country which was made known in a statement issued on Wednesday by Ben Goong, the Director of Press and Publicity of the Federal Ministry of Education. According to the statement, the appointed Rectors and their institutions are Dr. Duke Okoro for the Federal Polytechnic, Orogun, Delta State; Dr. Paul Ndubuisi for the Federal Polytechnic, Isuochi, Abia State; and Professor Mohammed Magaji for the Federal Polytechnic, Kabo, Kano State.


The statement added that the 3 Rectors appointments are with effect from January 17, 2023, for a single term of 5 years and are in accordance with the Federal Polytechnic (Amendment) Act, 2019.

President Buhari also approved the appointments of Christine Aluyi, Ezenuruihe Olachi, and Umar Dumbulum as Registrars for the Federal Polytechnics, Orogun, Delta State; Isuochi, Abia State and Kabo, Kano State respectively, for a single term of 5 years, with effect from January 17, 2023.

Similarly, the President also approved the appointments of Dr. Edwin Achugbue and Kabiru Ubale as Librarians for the Federal Polytechnic, Orogun, Delta State, and Federal Polytechnic, Kabo, Kano State, respectively.
