The Police Service Commission, PSC, has released details of successful candidates following its recruitment exercise into the rank of Constable.

President Buhari had in January, approved the recruitment of 6,000 constables into the Nigeria Police Force, with the PSC confirming last month that over 133,000 candidates had applied.

Details on the PSC website show that candiates were selected from the 36 states and the FCT.

The Commission directed successful candidates to check their names at their various State Police Command Headquarters for the Institutions where they are to be trained.

It disclosed that training for shortlisted candidates will commence June 8 and that resumption at the various training institutions closes June 13.

Candidates were warned failure to report at their respective tarining schools by cvlosing date would mean forfeiture of the recruitment.

Further details of the successful candidates were revealed on Friday by Head of Police Public Complaint Rapid Response Unit, Abayomi Shogunle, an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) via his Twitter handle.
