The acting Inspector General of Police, Mohammed ADAMU, is set to appoint a new Force Public Relations Officer (PRO), ACP Frank Mba. Mr Mba, a graduate of law from the University of Lagos, was called to the Nigerian bar in 2002.

He hails from Ezimo in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State, and was the best graduating cadet inspector in academics at the Police Academy, Kano, in 1993.

He rose up the police ladder and was promoted to assistant superintendent of police in 1999, deputy superintendent of police in 2003, superintendent of police in 2006 and chief superintendent of police in 2012.

He was the substantive police public relations officer, Lagos State police command, from 2007 to 2011.

ACP Mba, who is a seasoned and thoroughbred officer, was the Area Commander of Ajah. The new spokesman is stepping into a familiar terrain, having distinguished himself as the Force PRO sometimes ago.
