FCT Imposes Curfew From 6am – 9pm To Checkmate Spread Of COVID-19

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja in an effort to curb the tide of COVID-19 has announced restriction of businesses and commercial activities to only from 6 am – 9 pm daily.

 

The FCT administration has also directed residents to restrict their movements outside the residence from 9 pm.

The FCT Minister, Mohammed Musa Bello, made the declaration today in Abuja while briefing newsmen, saying restaurants also are only allowed to serve meals in takeaway packs to avoid bringing peoples together.

He reiterated that sitting at restaurants and any other form of public gathering is being discouraged to promote social distancing, the minister added.
