Air France/KLM on Thursday landed at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Lagos to evacuate 260 French and Dutch nationals to Pairs.
This was after the Federal Government gave the go-ahead to commence essential flight to airlift different national out of Nigeria to Paris from 26th March to 9th April 2020.
It was gathered that the pilot and crew were not allowed to disembark and after facilitation, the nationals were escorted to the aircraft for boarding.
The Ministry of Aviation in a letter signed by the Director, Air Transport Management, M.S Naibi for the Minister of Aviation, stating the airline must operate strictly on the protocol surrounding this operation under the COVID-19 as issued by Nigerian Aeronautical Authorities.
