The #EndSARS protesters lead by Omoleye Sowore, on Thursday stormed the Police headquarter, in Abuja demanding the reformation of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS). The #EndSARS campaigners sat on the Shehu Shagari Way, chanting ‘EndSARS,’ and displaying different placards with same inscription.
The whose presence has paralyzing vehicular traffic along the Shehu Shagari way in also demanded the presence of the Inspector General of Police Mohammed Abubakar Adamu.
The protesters splashed red paint on the road to demonstrate the killings and bloodshed by SARS operatives, many of whom have been indicted for rights violations, including extra-judicial killings, extortion, illegal detention, and other misconduct.
