FG Declares Friday And Monday Public Holiday

The federal government has declared April 10th and April 13th as public holidays to celebrate the 2020 Easter.

This declaration was made in Abuja on 6th April 2020 by the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola on behalf of the federal government via a statement by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Georgina Ehuriah.

The Minister appealed to Nigerians who are Christian's to use this year's Easter celebration to pray for Gods intervention over this pandemic virus ravaging the globe more especially her country Nigeria.


More so, he advised Nigerians to adhere strictly to the measures put in place by relevant authorities to help curb the spread of the virus.
