A stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River state, Godwin Akpama may have dumped his party as he has commenced massive campaign for the reelection of the incumbent governor, Prof. Ben Ayade who is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Former Governor of Abia state and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Orji Uzor Kalu has warned that any member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) caught rigging the 2019 general elections in the state would be lynched. Kalu stated this on Thursday while addressing newsmen at his Igbere, Bende Council country home, of Abia State, shortly after hosting the executive committee members of the party in the 17 councils.

The recently recalled former Chairman, House Committee on Appropriation, Hon. Abdulmumini Jibrin has reacted to his recall by the House of Representatives after he was suspended for about seventeen months. Hon. Jibril who was recalled on Tuesday, resumed plenary on Wednesday.
