Imo State Deputy Speaker Resigns

Imo state Deputy Speaker, Ugonna Ozuruigbo has tendered his resignation letter. The former Deputy Speaker who represents Nwangele constituency tendered his resignation letter on Thursday. 

The move is coming barely a few hours after the House of Assembly members served an impeachment notice on the Speaker of the House, Iheanacho Ihim following allegations of gross financial misconduct.

Following his resignation, the member representing Onuimo Constituency, Mr. Chinedu Offor (AA) was elected as the Protem Speaker.
