President Buhari Approves Appointment of 5 New Permanent Secretaries

The Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) has announced that 47 directors have been shortlisted to write examination to fill in 5 vacant permanent secretary positions in the federal civil service.

This was disclosed by the spokesperson of OHCSF, Abdulganiyu Aminu who also stated that the 5 vacant positions were retired permanent secretaries and those retiring this year in 5 states of the country.

The affected states are Ekiti, Enugu, Katsina, Nasarawa, and Lagos.

The selection process was given approval by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The screening of the 47 candidates was conducted transparently and involved agencies like the Department of State Services, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission, and other related agencies.

The examination is scheduled to hold on May 31, 2021.
