President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja held a closed-door meeting with the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bole Tinubu and the former Interim National Chairman of the Party, Chief Bisi Akande. Tinubu and Akande who arrived at the Villa at about 3:30 pm refused to address State House Correspondents. Tinubu merely said, "when I come back".

However, a source at the State House said the meeting might not be unconnected with the recent charge given to Tinubu by the President.

Recall that in a recent statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adeshina, the President had mandated Tinubu to reconcile all feuding members of the APC.
