Senator Shehu Sani has again taken a swipe at President Muhammadu Buhari over his policy on the fight against corruption, which he described as selective and one sided. The Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly stated this in a series of tweets on his Twitter handle. He claimed that the current administration was declaring war on individuals criticizing its policies in the guise of fighting corruption.

He accused the President of harboring corrupt people in his cabinet. One of the tweets reads;

“The labeling of critics of the Government as corrupt or supporters of corruption and the crowning of supporters of the Government as Saints on the Rock is the new attempt to defame and stigmatize people for exercising their rights to express their opinion. This is the new face of tyranny.”
