Billionaire business mogul, Alhaji Aminu Dantata has said that the presidential system of government has failed Nigeria.
The mogul who hosted the Northern Elders Forum that paid him a condolence visit over the death of Sani Dangote, Bashir Tofa, and other prominent sons of Kano, said, it is time the like minds in this country should team up and challenge the status co.
According to the elder statesman, “You will agree with me that the Presidential system of government presently in operation has failed the nation Nigeria.
“What we need now is to adopt the parliamentary system which is less expensive.” He added.
The delegation of the Northern Elders Forum who paid the courtesy call were; General Sale Maina, Hakeem Baba Ahmed, President Coalition of Northern Group, Nastura Sheriff, Dr. Sadiq Gombe, Hajiya Najaatu Mohammed, amongst others.
The group also paid a courtesy call to the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, Kano Deputy Governor, Nasiru Gawuna, and Alhaji Yahya Hamma.
