A wanted Boko Haram suspect, Idris Ibrahim Babawo, has been arrested in Ondo state by the police on Tuesday. The military authorities announced on Tuesday that a high-value target in the Boko Haram war has been captured by the police in Ondo State. The Director of Army Public Relations, Brig.-Gen. Sani Kukasheka, made the announcement in a statement in Maiduguri.

Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission on Tuesday stormed the Senate and served Sen. Dino Melaye, the Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District his recall notice. One of the officials who spoke to Vigil360 said the Senator had been evading the commission since the court Okayed his recall process. A Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Umuahia, Abia State, on Monday remanded 60 members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) at the Afara Federal Prisons in Aba. The magistrate ordered that the IPOB members be remanded in prison after their counsel challenged the jurisdiction of the court to hear the matter.
