A wanted Boko Haram suspect, Idris Ibrahim Babawo, has been arrested in Ondo state by the police on Tuesday. The military authorities announced on Tuesday that a high-value target in the Boko Haram war has been captured by the police in Ondo State. The Director of Army Public Relations, Brig.-Gen. A Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Umuahia, Abia State, on Monday remanded 60 members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) at the Afara Federal Prisons in Aba. The magistrate ordered that the IPOB members be remanded in prison after their counsel challenged the jurisdiction of the court to hear the matter.
